From the U.S.C.C.B. We need your help to ensure the Build Back Better Act does not effectively exclude Catholic schools from child care and pre-K programs, thereby severely limiting options for families.
The men and women working within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia play a special role in furthering the mission of the church and serving the spiritual and temporal needs of the community. The Office of Catholic Education is currently seeking qualified candidates for Pre-K 3 through Grade 8 Educator positions in all disciplines (see below) for the 2021-2022 school year

With the most affordable tuition in the area and beyond, financial aid is also available as needed. Go to www.maternitybvm.net. for a virtual tour of the entire School (Grades Pre-K 3 through 8) and press “Enrollment for 2021-2022" for full details to sign up. As we navigate through this pandemic, support for our schools and new tuition assistance is more important than ever before. Many of our families have been impacted by this challenging economy and are in need of assistance to continue growing into the next chapter of Catholic education. To help our families during these trying times, we have created a new tuition assistance program to provide financial aid to those who need it the most. Please help us build a better future by donating today. Your donation will provide tuition assistance for the 2020-2021 school year for families across Philadelphia.
Dear Parents and Guardians, I have just received word and it has been on the television that all Philadelphia Public and Parochial Schools will be closed for the next two weeks. The time is from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 27. I have attached a detailed letter with information on how you can come to school on Monday, 3/16 to pick up your child's books. THEY WILL NEED THEM. Teachers are assigning work on a daily basis and IT MUST BE COMPLETED. This is part of our plan for a Flexible Instructional Day. Read the attached carefully. Mass for Pre-K and Kdg is still on according to Father Quinter. All CYO practices, games, meeets, etc. HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL AFTER MARCH 27. ALL CUB SCOUT/BOY SCOUT ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED, TOO. NO ACTIVITIES MAY OCCUR IN THE SCHOOL IF IT IS CLOSED. Thank you. May the soul of Cpl. James O'Connor rest in peace and may God watch over his family, friends and fellow officers. Mrs. Z
