My name is Debra McDonough and this is my 12th year at Maternity BVM and my 37th year in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I have taught all subjects in grades 3 through 8 throughout my years and have found that each grade has unique and wonderful qualities that I have enjoyed. Teaching in Catholic school allows me to share my faith and lead students to live their lives as children of God.
I am a proud Penn State alum and can be found wearing my PSU gear and cheering on my team on Saturdays in the fall. I am married to Michael, our school's advancement director. We have a son, Kyle, who is married to Veronica. Kyle and Veronica have two daughters - Mae Helen, and Fiona Kathleen. We also have a daughter, Emily, who is married to Tim. Emily and Tim have a son named Oliver Sagan and a daughter named Cynthia Jane. Mr. McDonough and I enjoy having cookouts and going to the beach with our family.
